What a journey it was trying to navigate the world of having a young and growing family, working a full-time job, going to college, learning how to build a business around authorship, and writing a series. The days were a blur. In the moment it was so stressful, but so fun. It felt like the possibilities were endless and imagination was the limit. To this day I try to hold onto that ideology and not let the world put me in a box.
Family and friends can get you through a lot. Thankfully I was very blessed with the very best of them and I was able to churn out my second published novel, darker and grittier than ever before (sorry mom).
