Hi, I'm Rafael Hohmann. I'm a Brazilian-American author who loves writing complex fantasy, carving out unique world-building concepts, and introducing strange people and even stranger monsters. I appreciate you stopping by to hang with me on this cliff.

 

I was born in the dungeon of a castle (yes-and sadly it was converted into a small local hospital), I've swam with dolphins in the Amazon, hiked high-altitude deserts, published a best-selling series, and taught creative writing and business development at an international level.

 

I came from practically nothing as a child and it taught me a lot about hunger beyond a rumbling belly. When you find something that clicks in your heart-whether it's sharing stories with the world or climbing the world's tallest mountain-you can't let yourself become desensitized to your passion or lax when "you're not feeling it". I keep myself ravenous to the idea of creating an ecosystem through those who read my books.
