THE SUNRIDER SAGA: SUNRIDER BOOK 1
I have seen men become Gods and I have seen Gods become dust...
Magic pieces of armor rain from Lenova’s skies, granting common men God-like abilities. These individuals have been dubbed the Star-Children, and their magical suits of armor reshape land, nations, and the future of man. Each wield a random and distinctive power: the capability to create clouds of gems, the skill to bend lightning by command, the means to suck the air out of one’s lungs. They are marked by the bracers they wear: a single piece donning their arm, a piece which shifts and slides, forming their unique armored suits of might.
"A perfect mix of super-powers and fantasy!"
No one knows why these bracers have fallen from Lenova’s skies, picking individuals to hold such power. In the absence of knowledge and with superior beings doing as they will, chaos reigns. The few moral Star-Children wield their powers with honor, and those with darker intentions...seek blood and conquest.
In the midst of this, teenager Finn SunRider only cares for escaping the mines within the burning desert of the Crust and exploring the world beyond. When an ancient bracer much different from those which have fallen from the sky grafts onto Finn’s arm and the last of a dead race warns that he will be thrust in the middle of godly battles and mystery, Finn’s plans of freedom take a different turn.
From vat-worms made of flaming coal and strange two-directional streams, to floating cities and slagged landscapes - follow a fantasy adventure of epic proportions!

Praise for the SunRider Saga:

"SunRider carries the feel of an epic—of timeless stories from classic literature that follow a hero on a sweeping journey and profoundly portray the highs and lows of human existence. “Epic” like “The Odyssey”, “The Aeneid”, “and more recently, ”The Lord of the Rings”." —Rain
Welcome to the world of Finn SunRider.
Wow...looking at the cover brings back a wave of memories. This book holds a special place in my heart as it was my first big journey into the world of publication. I jumped into the deep end of the pool with the intent to learn from both self-publication and traditional publication. It was wild times. People would tell starry-eyed authors that if you threw your stuff onto Amazon it was going to ruin your chances of ever being taken seriously. The monster self-publishing wave hadn't fully hit yet, neither covid, or even the idea of A.I.-driven stories (yuck). Then it became a best-seller and I got the crazy idea that maybe I should try and make a career of writing.
As the years have passed I have been blessed with a wonderful support group of fellow author friends, incredible industry professionals, and wonderful mentors and SunRider will forever mark the spot in my life where I dared to ask the question "Can I do this?". The answer was yes, as long as you aren't afraid of some blood, sweat, and tears. In this series there's plenty of that.
